Cycle Oregon comes to Ashland

cycle oregonThe 2012 Cycle Oregon is coming through Ashland this year on their annual ride, they will be stopping over in Ashland on the 12th and 13th of September. For those who have enough energy while they are in Ashland, riders can chose to ride 9 more miles  up to the top of Mount Ashland all the way to the Ski Area for lunch and then a quick coast back into Ashland and a well deserved rest.  This year Cycle Oregon is celebrating their 25th Anniversary.  Approximately 2,200 riders have signed up for the 417 to 490 mile ride.  Organizers state “A special route for a special occasion”, the 25th  Anniversary ride features small towns that honor Cycle  Oregon’s mission, and showcases the singular splendor of  Crater Lake, also revels in the special charms of Ashland, and celebrates the variety of great riding that Oregon offers.”  For further information visit
