About Our Ashland, Oregon Inn

Jean-Pierre and Julie Langlade the owners of this premier Ashland, Oregon bed and breakfast, bring a European flair to the Blue Moon. Jean-Pierre is French born in Paris and Julie is British, born in a small town in East Anglia. They have lived in Boston and San Francisco’s East Bay before finding their way to Ashland and the Blue Moon which takes its place among the many wonderful B&B Inns of Ashland.

During the day, guests can enjoy the library of books and magazines about Shakespeare, art, travel and cuisine in the living room, on the front porch swing or on the sunny deck overlooking the garden area before departing for a day of Plays or playing. In the evening come home to the Inn and enjoy a glass of port before bed.

Free WIFI internet access will allow you to keep in touch with the “real world”. A laptop is also available to the guests who ran out of power…!

In the cool days of Fall and Winter, don’t be surprised to find a crackling fire (with real wood!) greeting you in the morning or upon your return from the theatre in the evening.

Art lovers will enjoy the original paintings from a local artist displayed throughout the Inn, read more about him on our blog post:

Originally built as a farmhouse in the 1890’s, our Ashland, Oregon Inn has been hosting visitors to the area since 1991. It was named The Mouse Trap Inn as a nod to a historic (and now defunct) pine mousetrap factory in the city which once supplied 90% of the nation’s traps! Of course, with Ashland’s theatrical history, many visitors associate the name with Agatha Christie’s famous play (which ran on London’s West End for more than forty years). The inn changed names in 2002 when the then owner named the inn after the Rogers and Hart song “Blue Moon”.
